The popularity of those songs - both the logically justified and the rather unexplained at times - can bring some new and fresh action. Plenty of musicians, especially the ones that are just making their way up to the spotlight, decide to try and perform a particular famous track. There are some artists that simply recreate the original piece and change the way of performing it. But there are also those, who reformate the whole song, keep the leading tune and the main beat but change the rest. They add their own ideas to the song, the transform it into a completely new one.
Not only is it the proof of real talent but most importantly of the truly artistic soul. The most astonishing phenomenon that only sustains the real and unique craft of those musicians is that the covers are, in many cases, of much better quality. They make the original pieces sound rather weak and ordinary.
Throughout the years incredible amounts of covers have been made but just to prove my point, here a few that, in my opinion, outrun the originals.
