Some time ago we had a topic of epic covers, the ones that make a poor song not just bearable but actually enjoyable. However, there are also 'not-really-covers' that make a song, not necessarily a bad one, memorable. But not in the way 'let's remember all of the lyrics and sing along everytime it's on', rather in the one that it becomes absolutely impossible to listen to the song without seeing the other version in fron of your eyes.
#3 is a recently shot one, for the purpose of the Game of Thrones: The Musical for Red Nose Day Project. Kit Harrington, as beloved by millions fans of the show, Jon Snow performs a slightly changed, as to the lyrics, version of The Troggs' 'Wild Thing'. Priceless, hilarious and absolutely charming at the same time. Never again will this song be the same in the perception of many, that's for sure.

It has already been some time since #2 was released or rather since it came to the eyes of the public and made everyone realise that it's not JUST you who dances like that in front of your mirror at home when nobody sees but it is only Paul Rudd who does it also on TV, on one of the most watched talk shows. As if image of Freddy Mercury in our minds when listening to Queens' music wasn't enough now we get the Paul Rudd's Mercury and it's absolutely priceless (START AT: 4:28)
Finally, the undeniable #1 of all times is Jensen Ackles' 'Eye of the Tiger', performed as Supernatural's Dean Winchester. You simply can't unsee it and you don't want to unsee it, exactly the opposite, you want to see it over and over again. Absolutely perfect brings the song to the new level in our perception. After watching this version of Survivor's hit everytime it goes on Jensen appears...and it only gets better.
Can you listen now to these songs without having the above versions in your mind? Any other that have similar impact?
